Loving your work!

I am doing a cert III in Information, communications and technology course and I was just wondering if I could get you to help me with one question. I just need to ask some developers about their testing methodology. I have put the actual question below if it helps:

<b>Contact the development team of any organisation and record an interview with a developer about the testing methodology used within
that organisation. Present your interview findings including examples of projects, results of testing, etc, to your teacher/trainer for review
Research and comment.</b>

Just a paragraph or so would be great. Hope you can help.

    I'd second the suggestion to PM a member of the dev team. I've done so and had a nice conversation. I think your topic is more than appropriate to at least try it.

    And in the event the person you choose isn't in the best position to answer your question(s) maybe they'd know who would be better!

    And yes I bought the special edition:P and have their Eternal Gratitude which I have been told is equal to the following:

    how you would get this kind of assignment is beyond me, surely though you could somehow contact a... better company? the testing here is quite.. well... small, as they don't have the resources to hire 50000 testers for each patch they make.

    Sorry, but how do you define a better company? Personally I think UWE are one of the better if not best corporations out there.

    Basically they do give a ###### about all your opinions, and whilst the marketing of bigger companies might try to make your believe they do... they really can't and don't provide that level of service. Valve is one of the only games developers I truly respect along with UWE and the Indie scene.

    You are more likely to get a good reply from one of the devs here, and a more interesting one as they have to be more efficient and innovative because of budget constraints.

    However, considering how busy they are currently this is probably a bad time. Go and ask one of the devs over at wolfire / overgrowth... or find some other mod developer at the moment. (imo)

    In all honesty Cert III in IT is pretty basic, I'm not after a long in depth answer. Just as a fan of NS I thought I would see if I could get their answer for my assignment If they don't have the time to answer that's fine and I don't really expect them to i just thought id give it a shot.

    As others have mentioned there are other companies I could try!
