Atmos in maps

<div class="IPBDescription">problem!</div>so i am working on a map. and i have not added occlusion geo to it yet. But i have a few spot lights with atmo. the problem is whenver i have them rendered. the WHOLe map appears foggy. as if its all in atmo. Can any1 help me with why? when i turn atmo off it goes away.

    That's not because of the atmospheric light spot. That is actually the default engine fog. You could add a fog_controls entity, although currently it affects the fog of the entire map. Also have a look at ns2_sample, it can teach you a lot :)

    There are two console commands as well

    r_fog false -> enables/disables the map fog (default for everyone is set to true)
    r_atmospherics false -> this one enables/disables spot lights that are set to have a atmospheric density > 0

    thanks! i think it actualy helps the map and my idea of it. but atleast i know why now lol.
