Can't Change Player Name

I can't change my player name. My old name contained a clan tag with unicode characters in it, and when i try deleting the tag, the game wont let me.

How can i delete that part of my name? Is it stored in a file somewhere?

Search for <nickname> in the options.xml file, which you can open with notepad or wordpad. It is one of the following files, I'm not sure which one actually does the stuff, but I think it has been changed to use the Steam cloud one instead. T be on the safe side, change em both :)
