I've created a custom map for GorgeCraft, called gc_pits. It's a simple design to allow space for creating artwork or crazy buildings. There are four circular pits surrounding the centre hive, each lit a slightly different color to help with orientation!!
This map only took 6 hours to make, and I was going to use it as a demo for GorgeCraft map making, unfortuately my PC crashed and the video I was recording was lost :(
It is a very simple map, 1 pit, flipped a few times.. and a shape in the middle. GorgeCraft maps are very simple to make as they only need 1 techpoint set to team 2, and a GCGamerules entity :)
Anyway - First is the quick flyaround video:

The four pits are slightly different colors to help with orientation :)

This is a great shot of the hive but also shows a weird problem. All the map is textured properly in the editor, and yet....

There is no release yet as this map requires GorgeCraft to play and I won't be releasing that until Sunday. Even then, the map will be released with the mod :) Comments and feedback etc... :)
