<div class="IPBDescription">without touching the edges</div>i've seen some other ppl complaining about arrowkey scrolling and i can relate, it is not a very convenient solution.
but i also like the qwer/asdf/yxcv layout for hotkeys...
so how about you enter a scrolling mode e.g. when you press the middle mouse button? similar with the scrolling in a pdf or on a website. depending on how far you move away from the initial position where you pressed the mouse on the screen, the scrolling can either be slow and smooth or very fast.
