Skulk Ambush

So, I kinda thought about how awesome it was in AvP to stealth on the ceiling and leap at unsuspecting Marines. In NS2 this is also possible, but it doesn't feel as rewarding later in the game. Thus, I'd like to suggest that Skulks gain a passive damage increase while they are hidden, that can be unleashed with the first attack after leaping at an enemy from behind. Mind you, this should only work while being hidden on a wall somewhere and only for the first attack. It also should stack the damage up over time, thus preventing Skulks from hiding after attacking and leaping at the Marine again all the time.

Might even be a 2 Hive upgrade :)

so if the marine your planning on ambushing doesnt see you before you get the first bite in you get a passive damage increase? your hiding on the roof a marine runs in you leap down you bite and it does more damage than a regular bite? sounds like a good idea to me and encourages to use the skulks ability to run on walls and ceilings and the shift "sneak ability"

Indeed, that's basically how it works :)

I'm sure that someone far more knowledgeable than I will come along and correct me, but to my current understanding of the game i support this idea. It would promote skulks actually waiting in the shadow's and using shift to sneak around rather than "lol wall jump till im point blank down a 300 meter hallway!" tactic. since it's only the first bite it would not be able to be abused. I for one enjoy listening to marines run around and talk on the radio then set up shop in a ceiling crevice just to ambush them rather than frontal assaults. skulks are supposed to justify their name...skulk...not ling rush, errr...skulk rush? just my opinion though.

Now now, the walljumping at supersonic speeds down 300 meters of hallway is fine ns tradition!
