Game randomly gets "stuck"

Not freezing or crashing, just stuck
So the first game i played went very well, i had no crashes or freezing for about 20 minutes. When i played my second game in another server problems started to occur. It happens all the time now and im not sure whats causing it. Basically, after about 30 seconds into gameplay, my game gets "stuck". I can still hear sound effects, and the animation of the things i see infront of me, but the gameworld is frozen and i cant move at all, not even my mouse. It can access the menu and join another server tho. It seems like the game is just randomly disconnecting me or something, but instead of giving me an error everything just stops.
Anyone else having this problem? Firewalls are off, im using GTX 680, i5 2500K, 8gb ram, Windows 7.
EDIT:
Ok i finally found another server that works properly. I guess its just a random thing. It takes me like 10 servers before i find one that works. I also noticed that i get all of the player models stuck on my screen when it happens.
EDIT again:
I put on net_stats and i noticed that Choke goese to 100% when it happens, then it stays there. Help!!!

Now that i've finally found someone else with the problem i can work on figuring out what we have in common that might be making this happen.
Im running:
Windows 7
I7 2600K OC'd
2x NVidia 470 SLI'd
8gig RAM
Game is running on a SSD (Solid State Hard Drive)
Running the latest BETA drivers from NVIDIA.
What drivers are you running? Also do you have the game running on max?
Before anyone asks btw nothing in my rig is overheating, that's all fine i can monitor the heat real time while playing on my 2nd screen, CPU never above 40 GPU about 60.
Played my first game last night, performance was flawless. Tried playing today (Australian servers) and kept "stuck/crash" 20 seconds in. Then rejoining authentication fails.
The game seems to drop drastically in frame rate before it gets stuck.
Windows 7 - SP1(Fully updated)
i7 930 @ 2.80 (factory settings)
8 GB DDR3 RAM
GTX 480 (not OC - Latest Nvidia drivers)
Two of the crashes/freeze/stuck:

The fact that some servers work fine and others dont would suggest that a variable about certain servers is causing the issue...However..
I found a solution to the problem today: Untick all the options at the bottom (AA Bloom ETC) and the game no longer crashes..Obviously the game looks worse...
Im going to turn them on again 1 by 1 to find out which 1 is causing the problem.
You guys untick them and see if it works for you, lemme know :).
Yes, only servers that I've really played on so far.
Its the only workaround that works as far as i know
there was a thread some time ago with this issue.
3 things you can try:

QUOTE

Be Broadband Counter Strike Connection Problems + Solution
If you use Be or Be There broadband and the supplied Bebox (THOMSON TG585v7) and you are having connection problems when playing Counter Strike or other Steam games, try this solution (taken from here: http://www.beusergroup.co.uk/technotes/ind...p/Steam_issues)
This fix should correct the following issues:
* Servers in Steam/in Steam games suffer ping ‘spikes’
* Difficulty/Inability to connect to servers
* Use of Steam/Steam games causes the BeBox to freeze/stall/restart (crash)
* Loss of connection to servers, or timeouts
* Poor performance (‘lag’) in servers
If you are having problems with the fix supplied below then please post in this thread and I will try to help, but I will not be held responsible for any damage to Be equipment etc. You know the drill.
This fix involves editing the user.ini file to change configuration. of the BeBox. This can also be done through telnet but I recommend it be done this way as I ran into problems trying the fix via telnet.
1. Follow this link to the router configuartion page:
http://bebox/cgi/b/bandr/?be=0&l0=0&am...=BACKUP_RESTORE
edit: the "bebox" may be replaced by the IP of your router.
go to start -> run -> type in cmd -> type in "ipconfig" in the cmd
the standard gateway of your ethernet LAN Adapter should be the IP of your router.
e.g. http://192.168.1.1/cgi/b/bandr/?be=0&l...=BACKUP_RESTORE
2.Enter username & password (default is Administrator, with password left blank)
3. Select Backup Configuration Now…. Don’t close this window
You should now have a user.ini file containing your router configuration options.
4. Open it in Notepad. Go to Edit , Find and search for appconfig application=GAME(UDP)
You should see three entries regarding UDP. You need to change them to:
appconfig application=GAME(UDP) trace=enabled timeout=3
appconfig application=CONE(UDP) trace=enabled timeout=3
appconfig application=LOOSE(UDP) trace=enabled timeout=3
Now again, go to Edit , Find and this time search for timerconfig timer=udpidle
You should change this entry to:
timerconfig timer=udpidle value=3
5. Save that user.ini file to the desktop. Switch back to the Speedtouch router page and select Restore Configuration Now….
6. Use the router dialog to locate and select the user.ini file that you have modified. The router should upload the file.
7. Once configuration is uploaded, restart your router and all ‘Connection Problem’ or Server list crashes or Restarting of the BeBox due to UDP flooding in CSS and other games should be FIXED.

Just an update on this issue. Had the same problem with Red Orchestra 2 and the people on their forums are going on about it.
If you can't get access to your router (or you're like me and the bthomehub will only give you an inaccessible .bin file) then don't fear, there is a crude and irritating solution!
Basically, wait for the server list to refresh (if you are having the problem of not seeing any servers, just be patient, they will appear eventually), and when the list populates, wait 1 minute. Time it or something, but wait one minute then join a server. Boom, for me sorted. I no longer timeout upon joining, no 100% choke.
Apparently the reason this is required is because the ports that the steam master servers connect through have a rule (on some routers) that causes them to timeout after 1 minute of inactivity. For whatever reason this causes problems but if you wait until after the rule has triggered (1 minute) then you can join a game unhindered.
It's an irritating workaround but I have been successful so far, much preferable to repeat joining random games until it works (as this meant I couldn't join my game of choice with any accuracy).
So good luck folks, I hope you find a system that works for you. I just use my phone to time 1 min and sing to myself or something.

But since I was unsing fsfod non-flash experimental menu (menumod), i did NOT have the gamz freezing !
I have no clue how this mod can affect connection, the fact is, whenI use it, the connection holds when it chokes.
When I don't use the mod, the game freeze and I loose the connection.
Why is that ? Is it possible that this mod change something in the way connection is handle ?
Please note that when I search for servers (with menumod activated), I get a message : "Master server offline mode"...
Isn't it strange ?

It would be cool if you could confirm if it worked.
-EDIT- I am actually on O2 Internet, which is BETHERE rebranded!
I can imagine some people might struggle with that if they arnt overly familiar with computers, so just post here if you need help.
I cant speak for BETHERE but if your trying this on O2, you will need to log in as a PowerUser to access the user.ini file,
Username: SuperUser
Passoword: O2Br0ad64nd
For older models its different, the Username will be SuperUser but the password will be the Serial No.: of your router which can be found underneath the router, or on your quick start guide.
The details above are case sens.
GL guys, and thanks again for the fix :).
Since it sounds like its being hosted on a University connection, I've always wondered if their network was doing some type of throttling or packet shaping that may be causing the problem.
I get the 30 seconds internet connection lockout(when trying to browse internet/firefox after "some" time-outs, doesn't always occur though).
I use the menu mod, still same problem occurs.
Will try #2.
Entering game is usually ok but then a few seconds into the game it suddenly lags and freezes. Animations still run and menu even works.
Have had the game occasionally crash and say that there is some bug in log.txt. Not sure if this is the reason why but I've generally been having lots of small issues with the game. Tried verifying as well as changing graphics settings. It has worked for me but it seems to be completely random when it will decide to, sometimes restarting computer works but I'm really confused as to what is actually happening.
