ns2 resets modem

everytime i join a multiplayer game of natural selection 2 the game resets my modem the problem cant be on my end becouse i play full matches with no problems at all of battlefield 3,Modern warfare 3,Max payne3,dota 2,League of legends and counter strike i also got extremely low fps on this game any advice help on this ? i would really like to try this beta
my system

i7 2860 QM 3.6 ghz
2x gtx580m Sli yes its a laptop

    yea i kind of give up on my $34.95 pre-order scam since 2011 tried again Mar 27 2012 and yet im triying again to get my moneys worth 8-1-2012

    Still might help if you would just answer their question; <b>What kind of modem do you have?</b>

    Also,

    Are you using a router? If so, what kind?
    Are you running any firewalls or Antivirus software w/ internet security?


    Maybe a descripion of the when the issue is happening exactly; I.E. happens right away or after so many minutes or only during heavy fire fights, etc.
