Iv read alot of posts about either team being unbalanced but i say they both are very balanced. But now the aliens win most of the time... wanna know why? Cause most of the humans are dumbasses.

I just came from a game where the only thing I heard was whining and bitching about how they want a HMG or a Grenade Lancher, Whilst i was telling the to go through the portal and help me make a forward attack base. We had a hive capped already and we were going for another. most of the guys stayed in base and the alien team got the 3rd hive and we lost. <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

People really need to shut up, stop whining, and follow the commanders orders.

yeah dude, i totally hear you on that. The same exact thing happened on my team. I was commanding for a while and managed to hold down one of their hives, but one player insisted that we needed to 'defend the base'. Okay lets get real here. You can defend the base INDEFINATELY, its never going to magic get better regardless of how good you think you can defend. After a while though, my ping got really bad (for some reason it spiked to 3500!) so i jumped out as commander. The guy that took my place was doing a good job IMHO. I was trying to rally the troops for an offensive against the second hive SO THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO DEFEND AGAINST THE ENDLESS FADES! Oh no, defending the base was priority 1. OH, we came so close to destorying, and securing the last hive...so close...but it was lost <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> After that, and a few whines about "Gimmie HMG, gimmie Armor, gimmie GL!!!" i left, no interest in persueing aimless goals (of defending).

Yeah man, i know how you feel...

Just things to remember in the future, Attacking = Good, Defending = bad

And THIS is exactly the mentality Flay wants in NS. No one has fun in endless turtle matches. NS rewards the efficiently aggressive team, ALWAYS.

yes, that is the most annoying thing, people don't even seem to realize the usefulness of an LMG and pistol. I remember one game today, they took out the cc and portals, 3 of us were left and we have hmgs, HA, and welders, we quickly ran out of ammo but killed several aliens and 2 hives with our welders. along with several chambers along the way. That was teamwork at it's best. Though I died just before the second hive to some offensive chambers I was welding, they were welding me from behind but my health ran out.
