Option to turn off waypoints and visual on screen notifications?

I know the addition of waypoints and visual paths for marines to follow was something the game desperately needed in Natural Selection 1 for newer players, but for us vets, they really just sort of annoy me by clogging up my screen.

I think eventually it would be nice to have an option to turn them off, as I'm using my map and voice comms to read the flow of the game just fine without them.

Thanks rant. Although I would hope this option might be included in a later version of the game, once developers have don't have so many other important things to attend to.

If you do not touch kOrderPixelHeight/Width, it will actually preserve the icon and still make it small. These values do not set the size of the thing ingame but are actually pointers for the texture so it knows how big one icon is in the texture file. If you change these values you will have totally wrong and butchered waypoint icons.

    today I learned =P

I don't know how to mod, all I saw was waypoint resolutions and made them tiny, because I hate waypoints. I'm sure its a terrible "mod", heh.. I don't care about seeing what the icon is so it never bothered me, but yes to those who do care- listen to dghelneshi!
