Any plan to improve graphical task of infestation?

<div class="IPBDescription">not meaning dynamic infestation, but just look of it.</div>I think i heard there may be no Dynamic Infestation for 1.0, but what i wanna ask is not about Dynamic Infestation, but about the look of it.
It looks already not bad, and we all know it's placeholder, but compare to other things which look fantastic with the engine, the look of current placeholder infestation is just, unfortunately bad and therefore i think if it's just still on 1.0 release like now, it would be a big disadvantage for at least graphical issue of NS2(because others look just really good)

So the first thing that i wanna ask is whether you are planning to implement 'almost final' new improved look for infestation for 1.0.
And second thing is, regardless of when, i wanna ask how good it would look. Would it be looking as good as and as detailed as that part of Hydra(so more darker, but much more detailed and perfectly 3D)? Otherwise how good?

    doubt they'd work on that pre-1.0. all things considering, that has to(should) be amongst the lowest of priorities.

    I've asked about this countless times, as it also is something i'd like to see put in. <b>It will happen during the polish phase, before 1.0 drops.</b>

    Dont quote me on this, but i believe they have the old version you saw in the first videos that just need some adjustment before implementation. In other words: not too much work to do but also not the highest priority on their list, being purely aesthetic.

    I'm not entirely sure what dynamic infestation will be. At first I thought it was going to replace the cyst system, but apparently cysts are staying. Can someone give me a run down in brief? Just cysts are a boring mechanic for both sides. Aliens hate watching them grow, marines hate knifing them.


    Either way I'm not really bothered, current infestation looks fine and operates well enough.

    You say "will be" but im not sure if they plan on ever implementing it. They have for sure said it wont be in 1.0 and my point was they shouldn't be advertising it if it wont be (i.e. the current page says it will affect lighting, deform hallways, etc)

    Dev Q&A, where Charlie said that there could be no DI for 1.0. Should have written 'Would' or 'Could' at the topic, but yeah, fantastic that they are planning to.

    Just to be clear, are you saying dynamic infestation will be in at 1.0 or earlier ?

    ^ No mention there of "Dynamic infestation" mechanics ... just the visuals. Which is what i was referring to. Hope that clears it up?

    Edit: <u>DISCLAIMER</u>: The information i have provided is from a developer who answered my question but was not intended as a public promise to anyone, so if said visual improvements do not occur by 1.0 do not be upset, as they may not be what you expect visually or even occur at all, especially given the mixed information occurring internally. Will ask for more clarity come tomorrow.

    Thanks, I thought you were referring to the visuals, but wasnt sure if 2nd paragraph went with first.
