Best Audio Settings with soundcard?

I just got an entry audio setup. Asus xonar dg with decent headphones. Is there any audio settings I should have for ns2 specifically?

Set your settings to something you like?
A better soundcard might have a better DAC and some other stuff, but what kind of EQ settings or other effects you like (e.g. dynamic range expansion or even compression, spatialization, etc.) is obviously up to personal taste, so I don't really understand the question. Especially considered every headphone sounds completely different from one another, noone can ever know what it will sound like on your end, let alone know how you will perceive/experience the sound.
