Alien vs. Marine map control

Aliens:
+Strong static defence
+Fast movement speed
+Free hyrdas
+Can move wherever they want with little to no resistance

Marines:
-Restricted Movement
-Crappy static defence
-Static defence needs to be researched
-Can barely get into alien territory to harass
+Phase Gates

    To me this all seems as it's supposed to be. By the way, you forgot to include the REST OF THE GAME which balances it.

    -Static defence needs to be researched
    -Can barely get into alien territory to harass

    Part of the problem is the original assumptions were off.
    Marines have too reliable of a static defense ... most games are won by that.
    Aliens have the crappy static defense ... everything res or time invested feels worthless, because a couple shot or hatchets and its gone...seems a worthless investment.

    even with entire map controll aliens gonna lose lots of there "good" games atm.
    Onos is pretty useless, fade too weak in lategame (not sure but feels useless without acidrocket at the end), whips not realy usefull, lots of abilitys missing... and so on.

    and ... arc deathtrains OP!

    Rines are better defenders worse attackers early game.
    Late game rines are worse defenders and better attackers.

    Marines have horrible static defense. Turrets do little damage and they are worthless against bile bomb (which has unlimited range and fires in a straight line). I didn't know a slimeball could be so accurate.

    That being said, I think the game is as balanced as its ever been with this patch. aliens can no longer solo around the map unless they do it skillfully. Aliens now require teamwork to win games.

    Unless I am playing a completely different game... Bilebomb has an arc trajectory and is not unlimited in distance.
