<div class="IPBDescription">Regarding fade in progress page</div>This was in the Gameplay tasks for build 210

"Fade swipe hits marines from sides and behind - no aiming required lol"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If they are fixing an issue where it was not required to aim then that is great news. There is a noticeable difference between skilled/unskilled fades due to the precision of the swipe. Nothing like a good fade/Marine shotgun duel. That ###### is gold.

You were able to swipe and 90 degrees to the left and right of you would hit a marine. Even 180 degrees behind you.
These have been fixed (still working on the 180 issue, when looking down).. but the fade swipe still can hit marines 45 degrees to the left and right of their crosshair, so i have a hard time calling it "precision." :)

    Does this answer your question?

Wow, was it like this for a while? No wonder I had trouble dueling with fades. To me 45 degrees either way *sounds* high, but I guess I can't say anything till I've played it first.

Well to be fair, the 3rd person model's claws and animations are big enough that a 45° arc makes sense from a visual standpoint, even if it does make it easier
