So actually we have just green DMG absorbers. Thats OK but boring.
What if the Clogs can have a benefit from the augmented Hive.
I thought about 3 types of Clogs, depending on wich Hive (Crag, Shift, Shade).
Pearl-Clog (Crag):
It looks like a rock built of pearl. Has high Armor but is weak to GLs and Flamer.
Gelee-Clog (Shade):
Lookes like a orange geleecube. It "eats" 1 GL shot but the nade is still armed, if the Gelee-Clog gets destroyed and the nade hits the ground/alien/alienbuilding it explodes (empty Gelee-Clog can eat this nade). Weak to Flames and Axe, Bullets can pass the Clog but it DMG gets reduced by 50%, while the 50% oft the absorbed energy causes the Gelee to melt and take DMG.
Supersonic-Clog (Shift)
Looks like a Cysts that has alot of suckers comming out of it that pulsate in a high frequency. It reflects railgunshots, flame DMG and acts as fake attack order for nearby ARCs (Supersonic-Clogs are primary targets) but reduce splash DMG by 50% if getting hitted directly.
Those Clogs would cost Pres but you have still those 10 free standart clogs.
