<div class="IPBDescription">How does it work ?</div> Well, I noticed the server update that mentioned something about that command, I've found two easter eggs... But what does the command do ?
Probably just alters the chance of encountering a random easter egg... I'm not sure of the significance of the variable.
As far as easter eggs go... I was holding the knife in-game yesterday, and my character took the knife and tipped it up... kind of like he was going to throw it. But then, from what I can tell, he balanced it in his hand, with the point of the knife sticking into his hand. He then resumed normal knife stance.
Pretty neat, huh? Or maybe that just happens if you stand around long enough while holding the knife.
i just like what your marine does if you have an HMG and no HA. After a little while he pets the HMG. I saw that and stopped and laughed. I showed my buddy and he laughed for at least 5 minutes at it.

The little animations (hmg pet, knife flourish, teeth picking) are just random idle animations. The ns_eastereggchange variable controls the likelyhood of hearing random audio eastereggs for the aliens. LOL! great find. We need a way we could say thouse as aliens, not just for eastereggs. No wait, don't do that, we'll just get people spamming them. Maybe if we had a way we could say them like other 'says', so that only people near us could hear them.

as far as i know of, the change to mp_ has to do with how the HL engine works...its a variable-server issue

Yea, those Easter eggs we're quite surprising the first time I heard them. As aliens, playing the level with sat com hive, and the waste handling hive (forget the name) my team had pressed to the marines main base, and we were all outside, getting ready to rush in when we heard the "Now we dance" one. We all took a moment to yell "wth was that?! I once heard the alien announcer say "This place is a mess." and I confirmed that everyone else heard it too at the same time.
