Transparent Characters?

Is it me or are the characters "transparent" where you can run through each other...

If so, can anyone shed some light on when this will be fixed as its pretty stupid.

Transparency isn't in the engine now, but it's on the to do list.

I think he is referring to the poor collisions that currently exist between players. Not sure when this will be fixed though unfortunately.

Still being fiddled with, but I believe a form of soft collision (i.e. you can pass through other players with a small push) has been implemented.

Ah well after reading it 5 times I get what he meaned. But still don't get it.
There is collision between enemy players, sometime you can even get stuck in the other player.
I wonder how to block Lerks if the collision gets better or changed to TF2 style, it would be harder for the Marines to block players.

It's a three way implementation and the opposite of TF2, also one of them is unintended

    1. players of the same team have hard collisions (can't pass though each other)
    2. players of the opposite team have soft collisions (push collisions like same team TF2)
    3. players getting stuck on each other is a bug in the collision system

    ------
    side note:
I think the Onos needs to push everyone (also his own team), as it is quite annoying to get stuck on another player while trying to get out of harms way and as a result losing all of your momentum...

What is the reasoning behind opposite teams having soft collisions? Why not have hard collisions instead?
