Black Armor for Alien ?

<div class="IPBDescription">Marines have black armor, but what alien get ?</div>I have purchased the Black Armor kit when it came out. I hate playing as marine. Im always alien. Im wondering if Alien get a black armor of their own. If not, I really think UWE should look into this because its not fair that only marine get something.
Suggestion : Maybe alien skin could be more dark with red glowing eyes ?

    I think that for now, there's no resources to dedicate for making new skins for the aliens. Something may come later.

    Of course, if the community comes up with something nice and subtle (red glowy eyes would be a disadvantage) those might be considered. I'm not echoing anything that the devs have said, just suggesting something with common sense.

    This comes with two issues

    - Marines are simply one class and need one model, aliens consist of multiple classes, would this mean you'd need black armor for al models?

    - black armor aliens would be much harder to see, basically because marines don't have this fancysmancy alien vision it's not so much an issue with black armored marines (they've got blue nanitelights as well)

    They wouldn't necessarily have to be completely black. I was thinking of something like black stripes along the back or something, for a tiger/raptor like appearance. It doesn't necessarily have to be black at all. How about red stripes?

    I would very much like alien equivalent of the baclk armour as well. Stripes or maybe even Spikes would probabloy work well, something that doesn't really give any advantage, and doesn't cost much in terms of programming resources.
    I know it's not too likely to happen, but still: Please UWE, give us some cool Alien skins ;)

    I agree about the glowing red eye, this is not good.
    What about a black, or blackish skulk. Just a other skulk skin, would be nice.

    The black ns1 fade or the infested green skulk would be a cool pre-order incentive.

    Though maybe they'd be cooler for a 10th anniversary of ns1 celebration.

    I hope they do expand on it ...but there is no rush.

    Personally I would like a more in your face intimidating look for the skulk.

    Something bright red and and showing lots of veins.

    But again i can wait for good art.
    They did a great job with the black armor and I would rather see this stuff post release.

    Well, if something like this was to go through, I think everyone would be in agreement that it would be the skulk that would be modified. Not because I like the skulk, or because people hate the gorge or some other crap, just because its the skulk. Its the alien hallmark.

    I think it could be a cool community project if the skulk skin texture was made easily available (is it already?) and people with black armour accounts sent in their own creations. UWE could choose whichever they liked the most and thought would impact gameplay the least, and that would be that.
