One Thing That I Can't Figure Out

<div class="IPBDescription">Nothing to do with balance, bugs etc.</div> Where oh where is the NS team? Why aren't they hear offering encouragement and guidance to those who have balance problem X or problem Y with their game? Or maybe those who just sux0r? Or those who have new ideas?

Now they are needed more then ever before(cuz the game has been out for a few weeks), so where did they go?

They are still there, but I dont think they post much. If I take an example : On Blizzard Entertainement forums ( War3, Starcraft, Diablo etc. ) an admin once said that they dont give information about the next patch because lets say they want to modify the seige turret but it wasnt possible, everyone would think they are changed and would say : OMG THEY SUXOR THEY DIDNT MODIFY <!--emo&::siege::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/siege.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='siege.gif'><!--endemo--> etc.etc.

Playtester and the Mod's and Dev's do comment from time to time but, you have to remember they have thier normal lives PLUS all the time they spend working on the game to deal with. I am happy to see them post on here at all, let alone at the level I have seen them at. The only forums that i can say rival this one is for Americas Army. So, I imagine unless it's a very worthwhile topic, they are not just going to comment on every little thing.

We are here and we do read the forums.

There is a lot of repeat traffic, much of which has already been addressed. Common issues are usually posted as a sticky.

There is also an IRC channel #NSHelp on gamesnet.net that usually has someone in there to answer questions. If we're not busy, we will certainly take the time to go over things such as balance issues and a little bit of game strategy. But as Mindmeld_me already stated, we also have lives and you may find that nobody is there at 3:30am or willing to cover strategy for a half hour because dinner is being served :-)

I would really like to thank the guys and gals who post well thought out questions and suggestions. They are helpful and the game developers definitely listen to your input.
