Unable to set control groups

<div class="IPBDescription">I use custom bindings</div>I didn't realize that setting control groups (Ctrl + #) actually worked until I tried it at PAX. It doesn't work on my computer at all. Since crouch is normally set to Ctrl and I rebound mine to Shift, I tried Shift + 2 but it still didn't set a control group. Any suggestions? A dev mentioned that the commander mode has its own keybinds, but in that case I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Only works if you have crouch set as ctrl right now.

Then is it possible to bind crouch to both control and shift in the config file?

As far as I know, double binds are not possible. The input system in NS2 is kinda messed up. :/
