Crash to desktop with no error message b204

All of a sudden I'm looking at the desktop. No error messages from NS2 or windows.
Someone else who rejoined the server said he had the same thing.
That's on top of the other crashed I've been getting since b 203!
What happened to make it crash so often? It's maybe one crash for every 3rd game.
Not a big problem cos the game boots so fast and you can get back into the game alright.
