Onos Gore

<div class="IPBDescription">Aim Flailing</div>If you use gore on anything except marines, the crosshair stays at the center of the screen. Once you gore a marine, however, your crosshair will move either to the left or the right, following the movement of the horn. This is especially annoying when fighting marines that strafe. I suggest getting rid of the flailing since it disrupts aiming. I believe this animation was introduced anywhere between b201 and b203 since I do not remember it happening before.

I find I am able to compensate for the drift when attacking marines quite easily...

It may work fine for you, but I personally don't like anything that artificially affects my aim. People have voice their opinions against this before, such as concerning the marine sprint view tilt.

For the onos, it doesn't make sense that the crosshair shifts to follow the horn when only attacking marines. For an amusing test, try pretending like you have a horn on top of your head. Your eyes should naturally stay fixed on a target in order to gore something.

This has a been a slight annoyance for me as well. I find myself crouching often just to keep my crosshair on a downed Marine, if he wasn't already flung a few meters away by knockback...

I don't really like the randomized nature of it either; it would be really cool and raise the skill-ceiling if the Onos player can use WASD to trigger left/right/forward Gore knockback.
