Black Armor Key -- Help Support the DEVS and NS2

I'm late to the party, apparently, but to all of those with an extra key, and to all of those that want one, I'd like to issue a challenge that will encourage NS2 growth and create developer support.

As many of you probably were, I was heavily into NS when it came on the scene -- a revolutionary game. Having come back, I missed my chance at the special edition which included the black armor DLC.

Boohoo. So, here's my proposal and challenge. If you have an extra key.. I will pay you $50 for it, and then I will donate an additional $50 to the devs at UnknownWorlds. PM me if you are interested.

I challenge the rest of you who might be holding on to a key to do the same. There are plenty of people out there that would love the opportunity.

I applaud that, very nice! Of course I can live with green armor, not my point at all. And to the gentleman with the standard keys? Perhaps you'd be willing to auction those off as well? Just a thought.

The point of the Black Armour is not just that you've paid more, but that you were there since the beginning, that you've been through the hell that was Alpha :P.

I don't have an issue with you wanting to buy your way into it now if you can find someone who'll part with it, but I don't really understand it either.

i have black armor and i dont have a problem at all with someone willing to buy it off someone else. theres prolly gonna be lots of stuff like that once people need to leave game for other things in life or whatever, happens to every game in the long run, and luckily it seems ns2 will indeed have a long run

but.... im kinda still "enjoying" my armor atm, sooooo i dont really wanna part with it yet :P but i hope you find someone that can help

Never giving my key, played thru alpha to now, its a place of pride to have it for supporting from the beginning. Seems abit cheap to give something like that away for any amount of money

I realy never notice the armor colors in the actual game.
Only in the ready room i notice the diffrent armor colors.
Is it realy important which armor a player got?
I mean the only diffrent between armor color is the payment amount/time.

i actually sometimes find myself in those very few, brief micro seconds of chomping at a marine, noticing black armor and thus somehow justify to myself that i should be trickier in my skulk/marine dance , as "this guy" has been around as long as i have.

this is a silly bias, and i know it.

I've been here since the beginning and I just pre-ordered the normal edition, the game hit beta pretty fast anyway, and I didn't really care about black armour. So yeah, just because you don't have black armour doesn't mean anything.

thats the only real way to tell, other than asking people in the ready room, since ns2 has no mirrors. theres an idea, how about 1 mirror in each ready room? lol

Besides green armor is more unique... roughly 96% of players have black Armur. FOREVER A GREEN MARINE!!!!!
