Commander group-hotkey bugged when crouch is on shift-key

<div class="IPBDescription">any workaround?</div>it took me a while to realise that the grouping (ctrl+number, or rather crouch+number) is already implemented for the commander-view.
apparently it is not working for me as i put crouch on the left shift button. this probably capitalized the numbers, making them invalid. i'm using a german keyboard layout, so the numbers 1234567890 change to !"§$%&/()= using shift. i could use a different key to crouch, but i am quite familiar with this setting as i like to use it on other games as well. so are there any possible work-around?
