Fake player counts

    That happens sometimes because of 1. Mapchange or 2. Massive player crash or 3. Server crash

    Nothing special the Server will repopulate in 30s as soon as everybody checked that the Server chrashed.

    can happen right after a server crash or map change.

    Oh, so the player counts could be incorrect since they probably don't update quickly?

    Yeah I don't think is like TF2 servers inflating player counts or lying about settings...but THAT does happen and sucks.

    The playercounts are correct normally. But if you are on the server and 10 ppl are connecting (The Loading... Screen), you will not see them on the Scoreboard but they are listed in the Serverbrowser.

    It's got to be a server crash or mass exodus from the server as I've never experience fake player counts but I've been in many server crashes where hardly anybody rejoins.

    I've seen this when bots are left in the servers. Were there any inactive players sitting in the ready room?

    Yep! I went into a 15/16 server, only 3 people in the RR.

    Yeah then its because they have bots added to the server.
