low performance

hello

im experiencing low performance in ns2, 50~fps if no one is near me, and 20~in fight
there is no difference between 'high'/'medium'/'ridiculously awful' setting

is there any help ?

my spec:
msi p67 g45 b3
8gb ram
560ti gigabyte
2500k @4,8

You get almost normal performance but you can try those things:

•r_atmospheric false
•r_bloom false
•r_shadows false
•r_aa false

In the console.
Also disable Aero when NS2 starts (Setting of NS2.exe)
Run as less things as possible in the background, Firefox closed, winamp, evt. Antivirus etc.
Try a lower resolution, the quality affects inly how much memory you have on the GPU.
Keep all your drivers and windows uptodate, some Windows Patches contain Framework patches.
Run NS2 on a other HD than windows and defrag your HD from time to time.
Also checking for Viruses and Maleware (Spybot search & destroy) is not a bad idea.
