<div class="IPBDescription">...with a bit of functionality</div>I know the current infestation is just a place holder but I had a suggestion for its final implementation.

How about it be more....floral/have more alien vegetation as it ages. As in, you start to spread it and as it ages, it starts growing alien looking grass, small plants, etc. Maybe have the density of the vegetation depend on the distance from the hive or some other structure?

In my mind I see some sort of purplish grass and medium mushrooms popping up everywhere starting at the hive.

Eventually after it has grown some, if marines walk on it they "disturb it" for some time, leaving a trail of sorts for skulks to pick up on.

    I think the idea has a bit of potential, but I'm not sure how difficult this would be to implement from a technical perspective. It may be a bit unreachable.

    Indeed, I think they should focus on performance first, for having infestation cover the majority/entirety of an official map and retaining stable playable fps.
