hmm thats funny.. it works great on mine.. I was just wondering.. did you make sure you have the latest versions of both the metamod and adminmod? there is a great faq pinned at the top of this forum that has the how-to for a linux server which also includes a how-to for adminmod and clanmod. Not sure if you looked into this or not.

Yeah... I've read everything here, at UA, adminmod, and metamod's site.

Metamod runs just fine with no plugins loading.

I enable adminmod (the latest version) and as soon as I connect, right after the [ADMIN] Password Accepted message, I get a segmentation fault that generates a most unhelpful debug.log file.

In the addons/adminmod/config/plugin.ini file, i've got everything commented out but the _base plugin. I've also tried a combination of AM plugins enabled and disabled, always the same problem. So i've tried it 100% default and about 10 combinations of disabling/commenting out lots of stuff in the plugin, adminmod and server configs.

Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thnx,

    Linux distro/kernel version?

That is bizaare, mine work fine with all the standard plugins and even some of my custom ones.

The only thing I really turned off in the Adminmod.cfg was the effects (when someone slaps/slays etc.) and some of the voting.

I'm an irc helper for AdminMOD. I've been over my config w/ the best guys there and everything seems to be in order. I'm running Mandrake 8.1 in SMP.
