Skulk + Enhanced Sight

<div class="IPBDescription">MUCH better than cloak</div> Its pretty simple, really. Ever have a hard time chomping on the marines because you can't keep them in your sites since their eyes seem to be in their mouth? Answer to that is enhanced sight. When the marine glows, its hard to miss him. So now, put on celerity and you can run circles around him, he wont be able to hit you, and you can bite the **obscenity** out of his **obscenity**.
imo, sensory chamber is useless other than enhanced sight. cloak is stupid. scent of fear? hah.

best marine killing skulk is celerity, carapace, and enhanced sight. period.

    As opposed to the "cloak, celerity, and regeneration" skulk, which simply vanishes into a corner, waits for the marine to go by, bites him to death in 2 chomps, and then hides again while he heals back to full health?

    Normally, i can HEAR marines coming. Enhanced sight doesn't do much except to gum up my vision or alert me to non-moving hiding marines, which i'm not normally going after as a skulk anyway (much preferring the ambush approach).

    Nothing like letting an entire 3 man squad go by, and taking 'em down one at a time from behind <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    if you can take down a 3-man squad like that, then I applaud you. I personally find it very hard to keep track of 3 objects that blend in and look alike while I'm chomping on my eyeballs, while I'm running circles around them so they can't hit me. also, that marine in the corner could be the one to kill you because you didn't see him, neh? I used to think it gummed up my vision, but I got sick of missing and having to fight more marines than I saw on a quick glance.

    Just doesn't seem worth it on a free beasty that's going to go *splat* at the first sight of a HMG... I usually just upgrade Fade's (and occasionally Lerks and Ono's) with the "lesser known" evolutions <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    HMGs kill your skulk easy if A. you don't have carapace, and B. you are an easy target. otherwise, I LOVE making the marines waste RS on HMGs that only end up falling to the floor next to a marine that looks like a half-eaten turkey sandwich.
