Jet pack counter

in NS2 General Discussion
It's almost impossible to counter a decent team with jetpacks (from my limited play time of course)

Fades blink ability makes it hard to take down unlike the original ns1. It would be nice to have gorges bile bomb or spit have an effect of some sort that slows or disables the jet pack to a degree. ;)

    dont counter the marines then, counter the base

    with Onos introduced, games became really nasty

    and Jets are very counterable: fade, skulk, lerk - all of them have abilities to get you down

    Generally, if you let marines get JP, they would have probably beat you without them. Granted, reinstituting something like the gorge web ability might be needed.
