Chart of Units/Upgrades/Weapons?

Hi everyone,
I am a total newcomer to the series and bought the game just today after it was randomly mentioned over at the BF steam forums. I instantly loved the concept of the game and figured it was worth giving it a try since most commentaries seem benevolent and I´d like to support such a commited and juvenile developer.
Anyway, before I`ll have the time to really get into it in the coming term break I thought I´d do some backround research considering the available Units/Upgrades/Weapons and the different tactics that can be utilized with them. But alas! I don´t seem to find any of that info in a form of a comprehensive Wiki or the like.
So my humble request: can anyone of the experience people here direct me to such a page - if it exists - or maybe even go through the trouble of summarizing some of the basics that I need to know to be of a little value to my team when entering the game?
