NS2 CTD from steam

Hi all, I have had NS2 working about 6 months ago, then I tried to start it up today and I got a CTD as soon at the game launched from steam. Attached is my DX log. I have tried searching on these forums but have not found much. I have verified the steam files, updated my video drivers, and deleted and reinstalled NS2. Thank you for you help and please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Can you try checking your options.xml file for out of range resolutions?

    Click Start.
    Type %appdata% and press enter.
    Navigate to Natural Selection 2 folder.

    Look for options.xml and open it with notepad++ or notepad (whichever you have).
    Hit CTRL+F and type <graphics> and hit enter.
    Scroll down a line or so and you should see your resolution. Try changing this to 800x600 and see if the game will work. If it does not, delete the entire Natural Selection 2 folder in your appdata folder and let us know what you get.
