A couple of questions

<div class="IPBDescription">Need help!</div>A couple of things seem to be bugging out for me with the commander overview. Took the map picture from summit as the overview creator is broken at the moment.

1) Minimap Extents seem not to place in my map correctly.

I've done the minimap_extents correctly, the brush entity reaches all the far walls, I dunno if the depth needs to be enveloping the map as well or not, but it doesn't seem to affect the problem. Also, the mouse is about a couple of centimeters above the "camera view grid" thing on the minimap, I don't know why, so when I move my camera with the mouse on the minimap, when the mouse reaches the top, the camera view is actually only 2/3rds the way up, and won't go further, even if I keep a hold of the mouse button 1.

2) Tech and Res points keep vanishing at certain angles. I need to place the tech/res entity at the bottom of my screen whilst in commander view.

3) I have a lot of height differences in my map, and the mapping guidelines suggest that I use the Commander_Camera entity for any extreme dips, but it doesn't seem to affect anything. Am I doing this wrong or does this actually not work at the moment?

    This is all linked to the overview generator I think as it also generates the commander height map. I've had many commander bugs without those files even if the minimap extent was properly placed in the map.

    Thank you, the overview.exe thread got my commander view map working perfectly, and the Commander_Camera works like a charm!

    Another question, I cannot seem to get the CommanderInvisible group to make some of the faces invisible (for instance, vents), I've done it the way the mapping guidelines say, make a CommanderInvisible group, link the faces I want invisible to it, but it's not doing anything. Am I missing a step for this?

    If the vents are props, they have a separate setting for hiding them from the comm view.

    When you click the group name again... does it correctly re-select all the faces you want hidden?

    You made it a Layer, that's why it doesn't work, go to Window -> Groups, that's where you need to create the CommanderInvisible group (you'll also need it for the OcclusionGeometry group).

    Another quick question - I would quite like to make a thin layer of water, nothing to swim in, just an inch deep, I was wondering if anybody knows whether that's possible to do currently?
