Handgun in 188

I was able to put down a fade, one on one just with the pistol.

I know some would say "this fade sucked his feromone glands", but in the builds before that was just impossible. Fades used to bring total havoc.

Reasons I see - total improvment in the game engine. Now I dont have to shoot before skulks. And my own level of unprecendent ownage.

Anyone?

Also possibly because the handgun now seems to fire as fast as you click, which means it fires faster than the rifle sometimes.

Quick question, what's secondary fire supposed to do?

You see a button being pressed on the side of the gun, i thought it could be for a laser but it hasn't been added yet, hope so anyway, it would be cool.

That's exactly it. It also increases damage dealt and accuracy while reducing rate of fire.

After the dmg type change last patch its finally usefull again. - I dont even miss the altfire.

Weapons that are suppose to deal Light damage are dealing Normal damage in build 188. It is a bug.

Pistol's secondary mode RoF is not reduced, possibly due to the animation system change. So it's capable of firing a lot faster than intended.

I hope these game breaking bugs are fixed soon.

I just hope they don't limit the half automatic fire rate again.
I emptied the pistol in NS1 faster than any scripter could, until that dreaded day devs made it lock up and I lost my arm. my left kidney.
