Is there much difference between buying and F2P? seems like you just get gold and access for $30.. seems a bit ######.

-30,000 tribes gold ($30 dollar value; used to purchase classes, skins and other in-game items)
-30-day booster ($15 dollar value; doubles the base XP and tokens used in-game to purchase skills, perks, and classes at a faster rate)
-Lfetime VIP status (a special lifetime account status, priority log-in, increased XP and token rate in-game, access to exclusive servers)
-Admission to Beta

Purchasing classes\skills\perks for real moneh? Thought this was about a game in the Tribes-series, my mistake.

FAQ says this about the VIP-status:
