Damage type: Puncture

<div class="IPBDescription">is it still planed?</div>After looking at damage types on the NS2 community wiki, i would like to know if UWE is still planning on implementing Puncture damage, perhaps a new weapon considering how there currently isn't any weapon or ability that uses this Damage type.

Puncture damage is used by Fade swipe, and does 30% additional damage to players, which is why the Fade is great for slaughtering mass marines, but rubbish at taking out buildings. I've always really thought this kind of decision was kinda arbitrary, since we've had stalemates for such a long time since Marines would get massacred if they tried to leave base, but even though Fades can confine Marines to a single base by shear killing power, but can't end the game due to not being to do anything against sentries and infantry portals. Until we see the Exosuit railgun, I don't think puncture damage belongs to any weapon in the marine arsenal either.
Armor only, players and structures, whip bombard? ^^
