<div class="IPBDescription">Line Tool / Extrude Object</div>I've used the line tool to create a rectangle on the floor. What I'm trying to do is extrude this rectangle (space in-between the lines selected) from the ground up; to create a platform reaching the stairs. Instead the extrude tool is raising the entire floor in the nearby area (even when the lines are cntrl+selected; not sure if this makes any difference). This is my first map and I'm new to the spark editor....so any help would be greatly appreciated.

you gotta select the face, not the outlining splines. if the face doesnt select, and shows up as the whole floor, you have to delete the whole floor and recreate the individual faces, and then select the middle face and extrude it.
