Gorge placing Hives/Eggs

While the Marine Team can advance very fast and instantly drop Structures the Aliens have to use the Drifters.
I noticed in many of NS2HD's videos that there is no endgame survival chance for the aliens if the main hive is under attack. When the Hive is dying there's still some Aliens left and a last minute rescue action could be a last Gorge that can drop a Hive or Eggs to make a contrast to the marine beacon gameplay.
The only thing Aliens can do at that moment is to send a kamikaze drifter on his path which fails most of the time. Marines mostly have a slight survival chance with the beacon ability and to drop a CC in a secured place instantly (if im not all wrong and it still has to be build up) and the Ability to place Eggs would make a last comeback of the Team possible.
Also this would make the Gorge role even more important and varied.
