    Well, assuming the server survived it, they also essentially give you an unstoppable expanse. There's NO WAY for the aliens to fight back against this until the bilebombs get fixed, and even then it's got bad odds.

    Something like the alien method (limited turrets per given area) or some sort of link between number of factories and number of turrets in an area would be an improvement...

    That's what I meant, the marines build tons of turrets and the aliens run around like mad but neither one is making any real progress toward winning. The nthe turrets overload the server and it crashes, and nobody wins. Stalemate.

    Limiting the number of turrets per Tfac would only cost the marines additional resources to build turret farms, not neccisarily reduce the number of turrets. Limiting the number of turrets in any one area to like 10 - 12 (and 2 - 3 seige) at the most would probably work, and they already have that working for alien turrets.
