NS2 & Steam

<div class="IPBDescription">Need NS2 forum in steam forums and recommend</div>Natural Selection 2 needs to be part of the Steam recommend, I wanted to recommend it but cant.
Also having a Natural Selection 2 as part of the Steam forum would also help to get it more publicity and also allow more support and feedback.

It will get all this when it's done. It's not "on" steam, it's still only beta, which means no recommending, steam forums, picture sharing and no store page.

PS: It's a closed beta ;)

Also, when I play ns2 my status is changes to "<name> is in game" for my friends who don't own ns2. those who do get the full message with the title included.

doesnt closed beta mean you can't talk about it with others? isn't that the opposite of what they want since they have no real marketing strategy beyond word of mouth?

It's not supposed to gain a gigantic publicity yet, so they have it hidden at their site.

No, you can talk about it with others as much as you like, and are encouraged to do so. "Closed Beta" just refers to the fact that there was a 10K limit on the amount of people who could get into the beta.

there should be keys left, a friend of mine bought 2 copies as gifts recently.

closed betas that you can't talk about makes you sign a NDA (Non-disclosure agreement), ns2 didn't have that.
