    How about instead of the Skulk's Wail ability effecting Marines, it instead effects buildings. When a Skulk uses this on a building, said building powers down and cant be used by marines or the commander for several seconds.

    i like your ideas about redemption. it would be cool to make it an upgrade that each life-form can choose and could work like this: once you "die" you will burst out of the corpse (after 2 seconds), having the option to retreat or attack. controls could be simple: left click = bite/attack, right click = evolve to your previous life-form (without having to pay res), but evolving to the last life form is only possible on infestation. basically i imagine a smaller version of the gorge, with bite and wall walking ability. so if you take this upgrade as a skulk, you really would have the option to continue your attack, but as onos / fade you might try to retreat (it would also depend on the situation) and save your res.

    it's speed should similar to the gorge (easy target) and hitpoints approximately 250 HP / 0 AP (target for light weapons). after a timer of 10 seconds (that's just a random number now) you would die. or maybe a different approach: give it unlimited hit-points, but you will not be able to regenerate energy (energy regeneration is a negative number). damage done to you will reduce your energy, and once you run out of energy you die. since each attack costs energy, you will die faster when you try to attack someone (something like 5% per bite?). the damage you deal could be 40 and structural
