Does anyone play this awesome HL1 Mod anymore? I haven't DL'd it or for that matter really looked for a DL because their website is down. Is there a way I can view HL Mod stats like back in the early days of Steam?

    kinda like sculpted CTF deathmatch

    That sounds kinda awesome.

    I mean, the modification we would sometimes do is no guns. This meant resorting to lots and lots of throwing knives.

    I'm kind of a bot ######. I made this map that was basically a pit with spawns around it, put an M16 in the middle of the pit, katanas on the sides, and then played me vs bots with unarmed only set. So I could grab the gun, but they were too stupid to. :P But sometimes I was so bad they kicked the gun out anyway. :(

    The best was getting chased, wall flipping past the katana, grabbing, it, then slicing their heads off from behind. Mm, TS.

    I'm not sure where that one got off to. It eventually evolved to the point where I had a sekrat door into an outer chamber with shooting ports and a massive store of guns. :X

    Here are some others I used to play all the way since hl1dm, though. Well, ts_seventies and teambattle are mine, teambattle being the first semi-not-horrible map I ever made, seventies being the second least horrible. aliendm is a pretty huge map made by alienware that's pretty awesome for ts bots. tig_nite is a classic, and so is x-fire.

    On the other hand, some companies actually look to hire people right out of college instead of people with years of experience, because they don't have to pay fresh meat as much, so there is that.
