Need critique badly

Hi everyone. I'm creating my marine start and I would really appreciate any feedback you can give me on lighting and geometry. Thanks.

For the last shot, I suggest breaking up the ceiling into more strips. That way, it won't look as stretched sideways. Maybe place the strip borders at particular landmark areas on it like at those yellow light thingies, the two big pipes, and at those gratings that the pipes are mounted to.

In the picture with the two computer stations, those columns have offset textures. Fix those and I think you're good for that part.

In the fourth from the top picture, try and see if you can get those fat floor textures to align with the grey panels.

I've noticed a lot of the textures are offset or misaligned, improving that would probably help that irking feeling.

First shot needs trim around that ceiling fan over the comm station, and that hexagonal hole in the wall needs trim too.

As for the general feel of the room, it feels a bit square and flat. Maybe see if you could try to build sort of a ribcage out of of pillars and crossbeams, where the pillars pop out to give marines or aliens a small place to hide.

I like the center of the room, with that hole in the floor placing more computer terminals inside. Although I wonder about that catwalk that goes across it, as although it looks nice, it may get in the way for the commander too much. Especially since this is in the base, where he would be spending a lot of his time. I also like those big blue lights, although it looks as though they don't seem to cast any color on the geometry there.

Not much I could say beyond what Blasphemy has already highlighted other than I find almost every room to be a square box with detail then added afterwards, the lighting is rather bland, perhaps changing it to a cool-blue colour without the 'piss-yellow' looking white light, also some detail has been added with no thought as to why it 'would' be there in a realistic context. For instance the girders holding up the walkway in the 2nd screenshot, they look fairly odd when looking at where they are on the floor, perhaps putting a trim around the outside of them to tidy it up slightly.
The last screenshot the ceiling looks just completely out of place, like you have created a large ceiling then just placed a load of props onto it, perhaps creating more interesting architecture for the ceiling with prop placement in mind.
Granted there are a few things I like about it, there are some sections in each screenshot that remind me of Doom 3 heavily which is great.

Are you new to using the spark editor, or are you new to level design overall?

It looks random. I can't see an underlying design, theme or some encompassing structure. Think more about a concept, and then build it around that. It looks like you've just built an empty room then gone around adding things individually so it doesn't look cohesive.

This shot shows the problem most clearly; the RT platform doesn't fit to the wall or the floor, and those strips going up the wall don't connect with anything on the floor or the ceiling.
