Micro$oft installer problems

Ok, ya'll seem like knowledgeable folk... I've got a computer problem.

You know the MS InstallShield thing? The thing that runs when you run some EXE's and all MSI files? Well for some reason, every time I try and install something using that (WantedHL, the cancer research stuff) it tries to install Microsoft Reader (an eBook reader) instead.

Any ideas?

well, I'll quote my friend scott. "It's infected with micrsoft. The Anti-virus is to format C."

but other than that..Erm..It's probally acrobat reader..it shouldn't bother your computer too much if you install it, THEN the Exe's should work.

Do you mean it runs the ebook reader, or actually tries to install it?

I guess I'm not following you. Does the MS Installer (MSI/Installshield/Intellimirror) app run at all, and then try to install this ebook reader? Or just this ebook reader popping up?

Maybe you could throw up a few screenshots, as I'm not following this description at all.

Also, what OS are you running?

Neeeever mind. This thing just up and fixed itself. Flipping bizare. I've had this problem for about a year now.
