Scottc1988, this makes the third topic I've had to move for you. Please post in the appropriate forums from now on.

I guess it's something most non conversions suffer - using the old models and ideas from ole Valve simply doesn't feel as good as new stuff.
I start to get the same feeling when staring at newer realism mods - your average CT is modeled so damn often that I'm wondering how he manages to get his work done.
Back on topic: Seems intresting, gonna d/l and try it. Svencoop is a good example of a very fun mod without "a professional feel to it".
Yup, I have no doubt that Sven Viking, Turrican and all the others put a lot of work into it, but it still doesn't <b>look</b> professional even though we all can agree that the gameplay is very fun.
/me works on filling this post with something intresting to keep it from being a total waste.
Edit: I was just playing SC with my bro on LAN, and that irritating out of sfx bug appeared to wreck all the fun.
