rectangles but no polygons

worked before but then it suddenly stoped working :(
i guess i hit some strange key combo.. ?!
how can i enable that again...

EDIT: oh and it first happened after i tryed to get side/top/front view..
EDIT: create face doesnt work... maybe its just visually disabled

    I really hate it when people have a problem, solve it, then don't have the courtesy to provide the solution for other people that might have the same problem. So annoying.

    well, sorry. i thought i'm the only one dumb enough....
    you left click on "Perspective" and just select "<b>Textured Unlit</b>" instead of "<b>Wireframe</b>" k?
