Lighting shows hard edges

I'm trying to build the curved wall to fit into the arch prop. It's tricky because it's also slanted upwards. The only way I found to make this work is with old fashion faces.

The problem is, the lighting gets crude, and I cannot align the textures without the "treat as one" so I'm thinking I need a whole new approach.

Anyone got any ideas?

    I would try with props first like this:

    <img src="http://www.super-nova-team.com/ns2/archwall.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

    Build the whole hallway on a strait axis then select it all,Un-tick Rotation snap box (lower right in editor) and rotate it to the desired slope you want then mend each end with faces or props.

    Hint: scaling can help adjust the curve depth but mind the collisions on the model you choose.

    Maybe try using a texture other than the dev texture. As it stands, the dev texture is exceptionally shiny, and if you use a proper one, people might not notice it.

    Yes, put textures on the faces. A mix of wall and trim textures with the proper rotation and alignment not only hide these edges but their normal map should also give some nice depth effects due to the light direction.
