Aesthetic Alien Upgrade

I suggest there to be a visual aesthetic upgrade for aliens and their structures, some form of re-searchable upgrade that darkens and removes the fluorescence of pustules that commonly grow on the alien structures, affecting the textures or the models themselves, this would give a combat edge because the structures would be far less noticable in most lighting conditions for the marine team.

Hopefully something similar could be implemented with the upcoming shade structure?

I think that instead of dropping time and resources into adding new upgrades to match new visuals, they should make all upgrades, current and future ones included, change the visual look of the models they affect. This has already been mentioned before by the way.

As a quick example, the higher the armor upgrade the thicker the carapace appears on aliens. Or the higher the damage upgrades, the more spikes, teeth, and nasty claws the aliens have. So on and so fourth.

This way it is easy to see what threat you're facing.

This would also go with all life form specific upgrades too, along with all major marine upgrades.

Of course, this is more of a polish thing than anything.

Wow, I've been playing for a couple weeks now after taking a 2-3 year hiatus from the game and completely forgot about that.

Sounds like they probably got the idea already on paper then!

Can the Ipod powered marines also get some common sense then, what with all the lights on their armour basically saying "bite here" :P
