I know it's been said before but i'm going "that route" again.
I have a small problem with the grenade launcher module.
When you look at the small metal connection between the module and the rifle: It looks weak, unstable.
For me it would make more sence if the module was moved an inch to the right so it sticks on the side of the rifle instead of "almost" touching it.
It would look less fragile. But also it would fit in the world better: There will be less torque on the rifle when you are launching a grenade. And now (for me) the most important fact: If it sticks to the side of the rifle, it would look like a module that has a magnetic connection with the rifle. Something a marine buys and just "slaps" to the side of it's rifle (that would be a cool deploy animation) and he's good to go. It would also make it easier to change between different modules (gas, grenade, none).
I know reworking models is alot of work, but for me, this change needs to be made.

and yeah, the nade launcher is stupid.
why not cange it to some sort of underbarrel? and make it hazard yellow, like its a prototype or imrpovised..
or just personised by the marines or something.. this would also allow aliens to quickly see who's got a nade launcher..
The model has no 'Oomph'.
Firing it would knock the gun off centre, maybe if a sudden jerk was added into the animation it would look more realistic and kinda cool.
But at the moment it feels detached from the 'world' you are within, because it does not react how your brain imagines it would.
Also, the melee animations need to be sped up. At the moment it looks like there is no weight or power behind the secondary attacks.
You'd think it would be military or even industrial grade sturdiness, but...
I do agree that it could be improved to seem more realistic and rugged.
like my beard per say.
but dogs can grow beards all over. that's not fair, I'm only 40% hair.
