Is that animation still there?

I remember in the old NS mod for the original Gold engine that some alien creatures were able to "eat" marines. If you were playing as the "eaten" marine you would immediately see the alien creature from the inside. That always scared the hell out of me, so I'd like to know if that still exists or if you can at least change it to a fade-to-black or something. Thank you!

The ability you're referring to is "Devour" from the Onos.
If I recall correctly the devour abiliy will not make it into NS2 due to a redefined role of the Onos, in additon to not wanting to take out the "devoured player" out of character control for such a length of time.

Yes this was cut from the game. You will no longer have to wear brown pants while playing NS.
